Get notified about Google wave invites immediately

If you are like me and millions over the world who are waiting for a google wave invite, then here is a trick for you.
You might have known by now that many are selling their invites on eBay. If you have no problem with spending money, you can buy one.
But if you want it for free then there are many more people who are willing to give it out for free to anyone interested. Some bloggers conduct contests, others just give it away. Many services have cropped up for free invite exchange.
But how to know who is giving out invites? Invites run out pretty quickly and so it is important that you contact the invite-giver as soon as possible.
Make use of Google Alerts. This google service will notify you by sending you an email immediately if there is a mention of the keyword ” google wave invites” anywhere in the world wide web.
After creating your account and connecting your emai address, just do the following settings-
Choose the keywords you think anyone would use if they were to give out invites. Example:- ” google wave invites”
Select type as ’comprehensive’. This will ensure that you are notified about it if there is any update in blogs, forums, web, etc.
Select ‘as it happens’ for ‘how often’ for obvious reasons.
Under normal circumstances you will be notified within 5 minutes, but it depends on how quickly googlebots index that page.
If I get an invite, I will make another post about it and will give out to those who contact me after that post.
