You might have received emails from many affiliate “gurus” saying that you can earn hell lot of money and you need not generate any traffic. Most of them are scam while a very few are based on MLM scheme where your downward chain is filled by them.
But most of the renowned Affiliate Marketers agree on one point.Traffic. More targeted it is, better it is for your website. For your online venture to succeed you need to get visitors by hook or by crook.(Black hat or white hat). What is more half of the web’s commercial eco-system is to teach you how to generate traffic.
Consider this example. There is a lazy village or a small town in the country side. There is a food stall on the street. The number of people entering the stall will be directly related to the number of peopleĀ walking on the street. The number of peopleĀ will increase after college or school timings when students will come out. Also during some big events, the number will increase benefiting the food stall. The simple logic is that if there are 100 people on the street at least 10 will enter and eat at the stall. So, for any reason the number of people on the street increases – say for 1000 they will have at least 100 customers.
Same is with online business. You need traffic to earn. Average conversion rate is 2% in case of CPA and 5% in case of CPC ads.
There are many ebooks and videos online which teaches you how to get traffic using paid as well as free methods. Google Sniper teaches you several unique and easy methods to gain free traffic.
So, next time you get any mails promising money without traffic then make sure that you completely understand what the offering is.
